Hatsumi
For the Brighton Digital Festival 2018 Hatsumi presents: Noösphere: Mindfulness in a Hyper-Connected World Join us for three immersive experiences inviting you to breathe, embody and visualise mindfulness.
Inner Eye (Augmented Reality)
Attending to your own internal signals from the body within is one of the prevalent practices of meditation. In this installation, you will see your own heartbeat visualised on a virtual object superimposed in the real world.
Creator: Dr. Keisuke Suzuki, Sackler Centre for Consciousness, University of Sussex.
Trail of Angels (Virtual Reality Animation)
A meditative VR animation which invites the viewer to explore a mysterious Afterlife World based on M.K.Čiurlionis paintings and music, observing and interacting with the surrounding during visually stunning day-night cycles.
Trail of Angels featured at the Venice Biennale this year, and is previewing at Noosphere ahead of it's official premiere at Raindance Festival in late September
Creators: Kristina Buozyte & Vitalijus Zukas
Hatsumi (Interactive Drawing Experience)
A therapeutic virtual reality experience which bridges the intersection of healthcare, art and technology to make the invisible visible. Drawn from an effective qualitative arts and health research method known as body mapping, users are able to visually translate emotions and sensations onto a life size body using 3D painting tools.
Creators: Nico Smith & Sarah Ticho
Catch all three experiences at TOMtech 20-23rd September
